The Mġarr Local Council set up a show earlier today at Tas-Santi, a hamlet in the outskirts of the village. Several tractors, including some very old specimens as well as vintage cars and lorries were showcased. Popular brands such as John Deere, Massey Ferguson and Bedford were featured at this exhibition. A threshing machine, used in days gone, by was the highlight of the event. It was set in motion to revive the nostalgia to many of those present.

Farmers and farming enthusiasts visited the show from all over Malta and Gozo. Most of those attending share the passion for agricultural machinery and had the occasion to have a chat while enjoying the cool breeze a hearty dinner and a couple of refreshing beers.
