One of the aims of this training course was to improve youth employability of rural areas in Europe through empowerment. The Spanish Youth Institute through the CEULAJ, in collaboration with other institutions has organised several other similar activities in the past to train young people to become active citizens and give a global dimension to their curriculum.

The two Maltese farmers, who are also supporters of the Malta Youth in Agriculture Foundation (MaYA Foundation) related many positive experiences acquired in Spain together with other European youth. Interesting workshops and farm visits have been an eye opener for these two young farmers who are willing to continue learning and working in the agri sector of Malta.
